I tested the game on PUBG Skins

As stated earlier, I tested the game on PUBG Skins six, rather diverse mixture of apparatus. On iOS side there were also the iPhone 8 Plus along with the iPhone 5s.

The combination of powerful hardware and the overall level of optimization which goes in an iOS name means I could max out the settings and the game ran consistently at the maximum frame rate of 30fps backed by the match. In terms of the iPhone 5s, it had been thrown in here for sake motives as the device isn't even formally supported by the match (iPhone 6s and over) but to my surprise it actually ran fine at the bottom setting with an occasional hiccup here and there. The comparatively low resolution display meant the frame rates were playable despite the aging hardware.

On the Android side, things were less than perfect but still mostly fine. The S9+ conducted the game at maximum settings but would sometimes drop frames very badly. The curved corners of the screen also cut heavily into the UI of the game, which was clearly made for square corners. The cheap PUBG Skins 5T did better in that respect but ran similar to this S9+. The Redmi Note 5 Guru with its Adreno 509 was set to Moderate settings from the match, which it worked fine but I found I could make it run at the highest HD setting and it was still perfectly playable. At length, that the Redmi 5 using its Adreno 506 needed to be conducted at minimal settings, but it was still was playable.

The frame rate in the game is not great. It tends to vary, drop and even at its best is only 30fps. On a PC using a mouse it might be profoundly infuriating (as a few players with less than leading rigs will tell you) but on cellular with all the slow controls and slower players it is less of a hindrance.
